Services
One of the best choices you can make when faced with an unplanned pregnancy is to seek advice in a safe, confidential setting. Alpha Center staff is trained and experienced in helping you face those challenges. Whether you need one appointment or many, we will be here as you make your decision and beyond.
Many young women have little understanding about the changes occurring in their bodies. With a free pregnancy test and a compassionate client advocate, women and their partners/families learn about fetal development and the creation of life. We offer the "Earn While You Learn" parenting curriculum so clients can earn material aid such as maternity and baby clothes, diapers, formula and other baby supplies. We refer clients to other life-affirming agencies that offer additional services such as maternity homes, medical care and adoption assistance. More about our services.
Our purpose is to promote sexual integrity by equipping individuals to make healthy, life-affirming choices.
History
Since 1987, the Alpha Center has helped women, their partners and their families — through abstinence education, pregnancy testing and related services, and post-abortion education. We endeavor to provide each client with the information and education needed to make decisions that will positively affect her life and the life of her child.
Support and Affiliations
The Alpha Center is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization devoted to promoting life. We can help persons in need because individuals, area churches, designated corporate gifts and fund-raising events support us. We are affiliated with Care Net, Heartbeat International and the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA).
